The surface is carved freehand into a Chinoiserie-style Peony floral design. This freehand carving results in a truly one of a kind decoration that moves intuitively over the platter's form making each platter unique! The edge is then carefully painted with genuine 22k gold.
The underside is unglazed, sanded to a smooth finish which is naturally stain and water resistant. All pieces are signed by Lindsay Emery.
