Effortless Entertaining: Easy Lemonade Upgrades

It's reached that point in the summer when it's just hot all the time, everywhere, relentlessly. Add in three firing kilns and I'm just over it. I don't want to rush away the summer season, but I do want to better enjoy it without turning into a sopping puddle of cranky hot. I'm drinking buckets of water, so the hydration thing is under control, but sometimes I need to switch it up, and that's where my lemonade hacks fit in. These are my four favorite Easy Lemonade Upgrades, perfect for treating yourself or impressing your guests all while beating the heat!

Mint Lemonade: Muddle a pinch of mint in the bottom of a glass and fill with lemonade and garnish with a lemon twist.

Sparkly Lemonade: Half lemonade and half your favorite sparkling water (or champagne!).

Green Tea Lemonade: Half lemonade and half green tea. It's like a classic Arnold Palmer but with a mellower flavor profile.

Cherry Lemonade: Fill a glass with lemonade and spoon two Luxardo, Maraschino Cherries and their syrup into the glass. (If you haven't tried these cherries before, they're nothing like the bright red, overly sugary, cheap variety! Totally worth the splurge!)

Enjoy!
