Things I'm Loving: Samsung's The Frame + Three Holiday Decor Looks!

A big thank you to Samsung for sponsoring this post! Here at Suite One Studio we only promote products we've actually tried and truly love!

After a long day in the studio this holiday season, nothing sounds better to me than switching into some sweats and getting cozy under fluffy blankets to watch some TV. In my house this is how we end nearly everyday, and I'm not even sorry about the amount of TV we're watching. Our holiday studio hustle is real and it's exhausting, and binge watching TV is my favorite fix.

That said, TVs are an eyesore and nothing kills a designer's buzz as much as a big black box thoughtlessly interrupting the function and aesthetics of a space. Since buying my home we've been tackling renos room by room but we've left the living room largely untouched because there's been no solution to the ugly TV and jumbled cord problem. Instead I've tucked our TV into our sunroom-- behind closed doors. Then I heard about Samsung'sinnovative TV, The Frame earlier this year, with its Art Mode, No Gap Wall-Mount, and the virtually undetectable Invisible Connection and I've been TV lusting hard ever since. When Samsung invited me to try The Frame in my own home just in time for the holidays I was beyond excited! Finally a TV I didn't want to hide but that could become a central part of my decor! Magic. No wonder The Frame was featured in Oprah's Favorite Things 2017

I tasked myself with the challenge of selecting three different images from The Frame's preloaded artworks in Art Mode to see first hand how much of a game changer The Frame really is for home design. There are over 100 different images in a variety of art categories, which made the selection process no small job, but someone had to look at gorgeous image after gorgeous image, so I'm not really complaining. I finally landed on three images that I used as the inspiration for the rest of the room's decor. Can you believe that? A TV that not only works beautifully in your space, but that can inspire the space itself?

First up is a simple festive look featuring rich blues and greens. I kept this look fairly minimal focusing on The Frame's vibrancy of colors provided by the 4K HDR Pro, with four times more pixels than full HD.

Next is a more graphic approach highlighting a more monochromatic palette. I hung a few of my favorite graphic artworks next to The Frame for a curated gallery look.

Lastly this option celebrates my favorite hues of the season: mint green, rosy blush, champagne, and snowy white. I selected an artwork featuring these same colors for a cohesive look that works perfectly with the oversized baubles hanging on my black faux Christmas Tree!
