A Farewell to July's Limited Editions: Baroque Platters

This form is our best selling platter design that we sold for years but it took quite a long vacation from the shop!

For the month of July we featured Baroque Platters as our Limited Edition in our Pre-Order Shop offering you the opportunity to collect this heirloom porcelain platter!

My great grandmother, Veronica was the inspiration for this form. She taught me to appreciate the simple beauties in life like costume jewelry, a well set table, and time with family. Helping her in the kitchen were some of my proudest experiences as a child.

These weren't over-the-top fancy affairs. They were abundantly filled tables, the special china, and always some sort of simple seasonal centerpiece-- This time of year in her Massachusetts home it would certainly have been freshly cut from the garden hydrangeas.

These are the sorts of moments I want my ceramics to inspire you to have in your homes with your family: A sprinkle of elegance and sparkle, but mostly just taking the time to say your moments deserve the special china.
