Suite One Studio + 2016

I hope your 2016 is off to a great start and that you're beginning to put into motion the plans and dreams you have for this new year. On the blog we're continuing the popular Trend Setting column and we'll be adding DIY content each month so that you can create easy projects at home to add more beauty to your table. In the studio the focus is to improve production to better serve your pretty porcelain needs. How many of you are relieved to read that sentence? It's no secret that stock was concern in 2015. What a great problem to have, I know. But I can't tell you how many hundreds of emails I received during the fall months alone, in which would-be customers lamented the sold-out shop status. Soooo, working on that is a major priority. And we're on it. Big time. For the first time ever we're exploring casting options, which is a pretty remarkable moment in Suite One Studio history for a few reasons: 1) We can produce on a much higher volume. 2) We can offer new, more intricate designs without having to significantly increase prices. 3) I swore off mold making in college after some preeeeeeeetty spectacular failed attempts. Nothing like facing your fears and failures right at the start of the new year, am I right?

Let's do this 2016.
