First Shop Update of 2023

New handmade pottery is arriving in the shop on 1/31 at 4 PM EST. This is the first update of 2023 and it's a good one! For this release I spent time creating two different styles of work that pair together beautifully for a modern aesthetic with roots in tradition.

In this release there are abstract watercolor pieces like the oval trays shown and painterly splashes of color and real gold-- of course! I love how contemporary and effortless these pieces are. They feel fun and sophisticated!

The other style of work features hand carved peony flowers which are delicately painted with a watercolor wash of color for a slightly faded, vintage patina.

This style of work takes traditional elements from tableware of yesteryear and combines it with a looser, more gestural take that shows brushstrokes and details from the making process.

Whether you’re a fan of the abstract poured effect of the floral details, the entire body of work is made for endless mixing and matching. You can confidently collect your favorites, curating a unique to you collection!

I can’t wait to see what you’ll add to your collection!
