Lavender Simple Syrup Recipe

Simple syrups are as their name suggests, simple. You can use any fruit or herb combinations to make unique concoctions guaranteed to elevate your favorite cocktail, iced tea, lemonade, or soda water. One of my favorites this time of year is a basic lavender simple syrup. You can use fresh or dried lavender, but it's extra fun to use lavender you've grown yourself!

Just a little reminder, the next shop update will go live tomorrow, 5/19 at 7 PM EST and it'll be a big one for the Burlap Tray with Gold Stripe. This is currently the most requested out-of-stock Suite One Studio product and I've been making dozens over the past few weeks to stock pile for tomorrow's release. If you've had your eye on it, tomorrow's your chance to grab one while they last! See you then!

Lavender Syrup:

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbsp lavender

In a saucepan add the water, sugar, and lavender. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring frequently. Remove from heat and allow to sit for 15 minutes.

Strain mixture to remove lavender. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week. Or freeze as ice cubes to use all summer long.

Enjoy!
