Studio Tour: As Seen on Jojotastic

The shelves are filling up in the studio as both holiday production and sales are well underway! Each year the rush hits earlier, a sign I take as the measurable accumulation of growth my studio has seen over the past twelve months. Few things excite me more than stacks and stacks of bisqueware, filled as they are with such unlimited potential, so this is a very happy scene for me. If you follow Suite One Studio on Instagram you probably already know that I love sharing behind-the-scenes peeks. I especially enjoy sharing these little moments during this time of year when we're bombarded with consumerism driven propaganda. Don't get me wrong, I'm a lover of good things, and because others love good things too my business continues to flourish. But sometimes the thoughtfulness, the message, and the work behind a product can get a bit lost in the flashiness of all the Ho-Ho-Hoing.

That's why I was thrilled when I was invited to share a studio tour on one of my favorite blogs, Jojotastic. Joanna is a fabulously talented designer; she has such an eye for style, design, and trends; and to top it all off she's a fantastically warmhearted person. I had the pleasure of staying with her during my trip to San Francisco last month (which reminds me, I still need to blog about how incredible that trip was. Noted on the to-do list.). If you head on over to Jojotastic you can see even more shots behind the Suite One Studio scenes. In addition to step by step photos you can even read about the entire transformative process through which each piece undergoes to change from a lumpy piece of clay to a finished glossy product! Enjoy!
